Mesa Public Schools invites all interested community members to the second quarter Community Budget Meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Carson Junior High. The meeting will kick off with a tour of Carson Junior High before attendees will learn more about the district’s capital needs and workshop ideas on capital funding solutions.
The MPS Community Budget Meeting is an opportunity to learn about the school district's budget process, how funds are allocated, and how it operates within Arizona's guidelines for school finance. This is the second in a series of quarterly meetings designed to increase transparency and keep our community informed. Every Community Budget Meeting will cover different topics related to school finance.
The Community Budget Meeting is in-person and open to everyone in the Mesa community. Following the event, a summary of questions and answers will be posted on the district's website.
